On April 13, Michigan Treasury Online (MTO), the online service that allows businesses to file and pay business taxes, will transition from their current payment platform PayConnection to Paymentus. 

Why It Matters

New Banking Company ID

The arrival of Paymentus will require users who make payments through a checking or savings bank account with an ACH Debit Block to provide their bank with the updated Company ID for Paymentus: 0000408976. 

If you’re unsure if your bank uses a ACH Debit Block, please contact your bank. Any bank account security changes must be initiated by the account owner. MRPR cannot make Company ID updates or inquiries on your behalf.

Paymentus is powered by the Treasury’s banking partner, JP Morgan Chase, and promises new features such as same-day payments, scheduling of future payments up to one year in advance, and automatic payment information retention.
