What Makes MRPR a Cool Place to Work?

So what makes MRPR a cool place to work? In a word, balance. We recognize that the modern workplace has changed, along with the modern family. We strongly believe in supporting our employees by maintaining a culture that promotes a work-life balance that keeps our employees happy and productive with a low turnover rate.

Over our 42 years in business, we're proud of the number of recent grads we've watched grow and flourish at MRPR. Many of our younger employees are juggling their first or second year on the job while working towards passing the CPA exam, which is why we manage their workload in a way that still allows them time to study. Something that also sets us apart is our mentorship. Our team principals support our younger teammates as they develop as accountants and overcome the learning curve while building confidence as a professional.

But what really sets MRPR apart is that we like to have fun. Of course, not everyone expects that from an accounting firm-- and certainly, no one would expect it during tax season. But it's true.

We know how stressful tax season is, which is why we work every year to make it something we look forward to as a team. A time of year where we get to dig in and work hard, but also let off steam as a company with office games like our team favorite, "Minute to Win It" challenges where teams vie for a coveted championship and a company vacation day the day after tax season ends.

We're also excited that our team is growing. We are actively looking for accounting and tax associates and a few experienced hires to fill positions.
