For the seventh year in a row, MRPR has been named to Crain's Detroit Business Best Places to Work in Southeast Michigan. Formerly known as Cool Places to Work, the list is created from a research-driven program that examines company practices, programs and benefits and surveys your employees for their perspective.

What Makes MRPR a Best Place to Work?

At MRPR, we believe in maintaining a good work-life balance that helps employees stay happy and productive. We are a hybrid-work environment, which gives our team the opportunity to work and grow together while being able to enjoy the benefits of working from home. And, with plenty of paid time off, flex time, and paid holidays MRPR employees have more time to spend with family and on hobbies with the peace of mind that MRPR has their back!

We understand accounting stereotypes — some people think we just stare at spreadsheets all day! That's why we designed our office with employee happiness in mind. We throw parties and set up stress-relieving activities to make sure our employees can always work to the best of their ability in a team-supported environment, even during tax season.

We are also proud of our internship program, where our intern's work mimics an entry-level accountant position with exposure to all aspects of accounting and client services. Many interns transition to full-time employees after graduation, so we make sure to manage their workload to allow them time to study for their CPA exam.

We also value mentorship and career growth, with our principals mentoring our entry-level team members to help develop and build confidence as a professional.
